It is unlawful for any person to sound any horn or signaling device on an automobile,
motorcycle, sidewalk vending receptacle, or other vehicle on any street or public
place of the city, except as a danger warning; to create by means of any such signaling
device any unreasonably loud or harsh sound; to sound any such device for an unnecessary
and unreasonable period of time; to use any signaling device except one operated by
hand or electricity; to sound any horn, whistle or other device operated by engine
exhaust; and to use any such signaling device when traffic is for any reason held
up.
